Spinal Injuries Scotland have listened to our membership and we are excited to be launching our Peer Support program out in Scotland!  The second area to go live is the Dumfries area.

Our Peer Support Program is based on the recognition that there is no better person to support someone with a SCI and their friends and families than someone who has been down a similar path.

We are looking for someone who is willing to take the lead and attend four annual NHS Outreach Clinics in Dumfries and The Borders and arrange ’Coffee meet-ups’ to bring people with a SCI together. The post will require 7 hours a week dedicated to the job.

The successful applicant will need to be able to pass a PVG check and comply with data protection and our privacy policy. It is essential that the person has access to transport.

Training will be provided.
