The Highland Perthshire Cycling Festival takes place in Aberfeldy on the 15th and 16th of May 2010 and has a come-and-try handbiking day. It’s the perfect opportunity to try out all sorts of handbikes and go for some social rides in a beautiful place.
There will be an oppportunity to try out One-Off and Greenspeed offroad handbikes and road handbikes by Top-End, Draft and Varna.

i’m very interested in handbiking but am currently an inpatient at the southern general hospital. I have been injured for 11 weeks now and i wondered if i would be able to take part or if i would have to wait untill i am discharged?
Daniel, you should check with the staff at the unit first. They will be able to advise you if it’s safe for you to take part. If they give you the OK then give the organisers of the event an email (karen@inspireandimpact.com) and let them know your situation and that you wish to attend. Just wanted to say I hope that Daniel can make it to the day in Perthshire. To be motivated enough 11 weeks post-injury to want to try this out says a lot! And if for some reason you can’t have a go Daniel, hopefully you may still be able to attend the event to get some idea of what can be achieved.
