Izzy Maciver running 2009 London Marathon for SIS

Izzy Maciver runs the 2009 London Marathon in aid of SIS.

You may or may not know that she has been responsible for the creation of the two films SIS made about both our work and the people living with SCI in Scotland whom we support.

She runs successful London-based independent television production company “Madmac Productions” which creates not only work for SIS, but has an extensive portfolio of work which includes TV Drama, Lifestyle shows, Gaelic language and educational programmes; for the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 among others.

It is typical of her that she gives back so much, she is possessed of a fantastic drive and a generosity of spirit which is infectious, and is always around for anyone with an encouraging word or a way to solve a problem.

Izzy puts the determination to get the job done that she applies in her hectic working life into her training and participation in the London Marathon; pounding the streets wherever work takes her, be that her north London home, the streets and parks of Glasgow, Portobello Beach in Edinburgh or even the windswept roads of the Outer Hebrides.
