CAMPAIGNS AND POLICY GROUP
SIS works to raise awareness about issues and services that affect the needs of people living with a spinal cord injury (SCI)
By Campaigning we can:
- raise public awareness of SCI,
- help promote disability rights,
- raise the profile of SIS.
Why not help to give the Spinal Cord Injured Community a Voice by joining our newly formed Campaigns and Policy Group.
The group is open to anyone living with a SCI, carers, relatives and friends. The group will come together 4/5 times a year ( or more frequently if people wish) to look at any issues, discussion changes to health or social care services that may affect the SCI community and feedback information to decisions makers ( Scottish Executive, MSP, local councilors etc)
