Leave a Legacy

We appreciate that some people may be unable to make a donation to Spinal Injuries Scotland at this time. Including a legacy to Spinal Injuries Scotland in your will offers you the opportunity to support our work without it affecting your current lifestyle. Your legacy will also help secure the Charity's future and enable us to make long term plans and commitments that will see many more people taken from injury to independence.

There are several different types of legacy that you might like to consider and we will be happy to send you full details that will highlight your options. Simply contact the office on 0141 427 7686 or info@sisonline.org for further information.

If you have already made a will, a simple codicil form, which we will be happy to send you, allows you to add a bequest to Spinal Injuries Scotland.

Any gift that you make to Spinal Injuries Scotland under your Will passes free of Inheritance Tax. Spinal Injuries Scotland will therefore receive the full benefits of your entire gift without deduction. The net value of your estate is reduced, as is the amount liable for Inheritance Tax.

Spinal Injuries Scotland is, of course, extremely grateful for any gift that you might choose to leave to us and we will be happy to talk through the ways in which you might like us to record our appreciation.
