Stuck for something to do on the 19th August?

Never been on a Powerboat or Sailing Dinghy, or perhaps you’ve always fancied trying out Canoeing but never had the chance?

Then mark the SIS Barbeque and Activities Day at Castle Semple Visitor Centre, Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park, Lochwinnoch as a ‘must’ in your diary. With expert tuition and guidance on hand, it’s a golden opportunity to fill your day with something different.
Supported by Digby Brown Solicitors, we’re planning to make our mark, and members are cordially invited to join us at our latest venture.

Whilst the opportunity to work towards formal qualifications exists, there’s no need to take things so seriously.

For those not tempted to venture out on the water, we’ll have Handcycling, a Paragolfer and various displays including woodturning, manicures and handcare demonstrations, as well as a number of information stands and adapted vehicles on show. Allied Mobility will be in attendance with a variety of products including manual chairs and handcycles. Elap Mobility will also attend with one of their demonstration vehicles. Their products are available on the Motability scheme.

We can’t guarantee the weather, but the Visitor Centre will be available. If you’re still unsure or perhaps want to know more on where it is, log on to the Clyde Muirshiel website and see what’s on hand:

Activities on the day will run from 10am to 3pm, with a barbeque lunch available.

All this and of course, the chance to meet friends, catch up and share stories.
